Big Help Community Shops offer furniture, clothing, households goods and bric a brac. You can find them on Picton Road, Wavertree and Carr Meadow Hey, Bootle.

Emmaus Furniture Warehouse

A charity superstore in Sefton that sells furniture, tables, chairs, sofas, beds and antique furniture as well as washing machines, dishwashers and other white goods. You can find the warehouse at 38 Sandy Road, Seaforth, Sefton, L21 3TW.

Local Authority Emergency Assistance Schemes (ELAS)

ELAS provides support to OVH customers experiencing severe hardship, a disaster or emergency. It is there to meet one-off needs and not ongoing expenses through the provision of redeemable vouchers, travel warrants, essential household goods or referral to a support service.

OVH Home Starter Fund

The fund is available for new customers moving to an OVH property or for existing customers to help maintain their current homes. Applicants can apply for a one off grant to the maximum value of £450 during their tenancy. The fund can be used to provide items considered essential to maintaining a tenancy, including furniture removal, bedding, sofa, fridge, freezer, carpets, blinds, cutlery and crockery.
